These are the Big Enablers and there are more smaller things that gets unlcoked as well which is not covered within this guide (with the intention of not drawing this out to much). If you want to discover the complete "Big list" of things that becomes available please check out the Adventure Quest Home page "Discover the Power of the Guardian Section" - Click here to visit the AQ Website

Ways of ordering:
Adventure Quest (Artix) takes:
  • All the major credit cards
  • Paypal.com
  • ClickandBuy.com
  • PaybyCash.com (20 ways of paying)
  • Check and Money order payments via regular mail.

Parental Information:
Artix has posted a quite extensive 10 pages section directed entirely to parents that is available through the Adventure Quest Website main menu

Security:
The entire "Web family" that are associated with Adventure Quest and the other games like adventure quest have been reviewed and given a thumbs up from Mcafee Site advisor which is something I don't see everyday when surfing for entertainment and games online.

Pricing Information:

Free Adventurers:
As you might have guessed already two thirds of the game is readily available for players just wanting a free experience the major drawback with that is when the player slots are filled up and this is naturally a marketing strategy from Atrix to create revenue and get's annoying over time. (You do have a limited amont of guaranteed access days when you first start playing)

Paid Guardians:
Whopee! As a paid Adventure Quest Guardian you don't have to worry about not being able to login and as you read above you unlock a bunchload of interesting stuff to explore, discover and use. The Guardianship applies to ONE character in terms of all the additional weapons, armors and such. But the ability to log in seems to be universal amongst your characters and is tied to your user account.

One Time Fee Pricelist: (As of 15FEB2008)

$19.95 USD Gets you an upgraded Guardian Status.
$24.95 USD Lets you become an "X-Guardian" giving you the additional perks as listed under X-Boost above.
$19.95 A Package if you are already a Guardian gets you upgraded to X-Guardian(X-Boost package) and 3000 Z-Tokens

Personal Reflections:
As with any good (or bad?) game it's a shame that they have to have an associated cost. And as I am kind of torn and cannot decide in between recommending either approach. To play for free means you can login guaranteed always for a couple of days and then run into the frustration of maybe not being able to login when there are no free playerslots left.

On the other hand we have paying to upgrade your account into a Adventure Quest Guardian account which guarantees you to login always (which I think is the BIGGEST beneficial attribute of the upgrade package).

Consider this before deciding about upgrading:
Although this game by no small means is great when compared to other similar flash games out there, there are certain downsides to it as well.
At times it can get a bit tedious and such I would recommend that if you are unsure about starting playing as a free adventurer or upgrading to Guardianship start by getting a feel for the game and then decide later what you want to do. (If nothing else just to make sure you pick your favorite character to upgrade)

On the other hand if that $19.95 is no biggie for you then don't let me stand in your way.

This concludes the Adventure Quest Guide and would like to once again please ask you to not give me credit for this information I have just gathered information from alot of different sources such as the official Adventure Quest website and Wikiedia.

Feel free to come back every now and then since I will be adding additional information about Adventure Quest and the other Atrix Games.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have gotten great value from this Guide.
